Image result for harlequin bug          Hypothesis
Our hypothesis was that the harlequin bug and the Katydid were the bugs that caused damage to our plants.   We believe that those two bugs had used our plants as food. We believe so because we found the two bugs on our plants with holes next to them. We did further research and had found out that the katydid and the Harley Quinn bug both use the brassica plant for food.
                                                        Experiment
Our experiment was to get the Harley Quinn bug and Katydid bugs that were on our plants and to place them inside of the same jar. A brassica was also added into the mix. This was a test to see if the bugs would try to eat the plants. We waited to see if they would eat the plant. Both of the bugs had eaten the plant and had left the jar empty.
                                                        Evidence
Overall , we had found two bugs on our brassica plant. we had caught the bug and placed them into a jar by themselves. We did research on both of the bugs and found out that both species eat brassica plants. We put a piece of our brassica plant in the jar and found out that they had both ate our plant. So in the end we found out that the harley quinn and the katydid bug both had caused damage to our plants by eating a portion of our plant.
